WHY DOES PORT OF OPPORTUNITIES NEED TO STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

As a recruitment agency, we understand the importance of protecting the personal data of our candidates and clients. This privacy statement outlines how we collect, use, and store personal data for the purpose of recruitment. We follow the Dutch law (AVG/ English: GDPR) regarding this personal data.

We collect personal data such as your name, contact details, work experience, education history, and any other information that you provide to us as part of your job application or during an intake.

We use your personal data to assess your suitability for job vacancies and to match you with suitable job opportunities. We may also use your personal data to communicate with you about job opportunities or to provide you with career advice.

How long do we store your personal data?
We will store your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected (finding a job). If you are unsuccessful in your job application, we will retain your personal data for a period of one year (12 months) from the date of your last application. If you are successful in your job application, we will retain your personal data for as long as you are employed with the company.
