E&I Technician

ARE YOU THE ELECTRICAL AND INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN THE PORT OF ROTTERDAM NEEDS?

In this challenging role, you as E&I Technician will become an integral part of the E&I team, consisting of 10-15 members.  The primary responsibilities as E&I Technician include identifying, analyzing, reporting, and resolving technical issues, all contributing to the effective execution of maintenance plans.

Responsibilities:

As an E&I Technician, your role is crucial for maintaining safety and reliability. Key responsibilities and tasks include:

  • performing timely preventive maintenance and reporting as per established plans;
  • ensuring quality and technical standards compliance;
  • overseeing E&I commissioning;
  • actively participating in project planning, execution, and Root Cause Analyses;
  • collaborating with relevant departments for task coordination;
  • proposing enhancements for safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness;
  • fulfilling on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

To be able to apply for this job, there are some requirements your profile should adhere to. Of course, it is important that you are motivated and are ready to work within your own team but also with other departments. Other qualifications include:

  • minimum completion of an MBO 4 (or an equivalent) degree in Electrotechnics, Instrumentation, or Measurement and Control Technology, supplemented with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the process industry;
  • strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead others;
  • good knowledge of maintaining instrumentation and electrical installations;
  • strong motivation and ambition to broaden your skills and potentially advance to higher roles;
  • familiarity with the maintenance management tool SAP is a plus;
  • knowledge of Root Cause Analyses;
  • willingness to patricipate in training for technical qualifications such as STIPEL certification for NEN3140, NEN3840, and radiation expertise.
