ARE YOU CUT OUT FOR A JOB AS WOODWORKER? TRAINING INCLUDED!

You (together with your colleagues) ensure that the customized packaging meets the international requirements needed for the country of destination. The most important standard here is the ISPM 15 regulations. The packaging you (together with your colleagues) make is made from wood that has undergone the appropriate treatments and therefore bears an international mark for proper shipping. In this way, the transport can be send off in a safe way.

The following tasks will be part of your job:

Everyone orders online and receives packages nowadays. When an order is placed, the product should arrive at the customer's house or company safely. To make sure the products aren't damaged, the product will be packed with custom-made wooden packaging, but will also be fitted with foil, for example, if necessary.

As a Box Maker you will produce custom transport boxes, crates, pallets and skids. You will do this entirely tailored to the customer requirements.

The work to be done is varied, during which you must work efficiently, thoroughly and customer-focused.

Do you have:

  • experience in a similar position or the willingness to the learn this fine trade;
  • an availability of at least 4 days a week and the willingness to occasionally work overtime (for a supplementary payment) in the evenings or weekends;
  • good command of the Dutch and/or English language (A2 level or higher);
  • handiness and proficiency in woodworking;
  • the ability to work well in a team.

What we offer:

  • a full-time salary between € 2300,- and € 2750,- gross depending on your experience;
  • internal and external training to become a skilled Box Maker;
  • possibility of permanent employment;
  • an informal and collegial working atmosphere;
  • collective labor agreement for the woodworking industry (so no fixed construction vacations).
