Scaffolding builder

NOT AFRAID OF HEIGHTS, ARE YOU A MORNING PERSON AND WILLING TO WORK HARD?

As a scaffolding builder you will be mounting and dismounting scaffoldings in a safe way on several locations. In the early morning you will be picked up at your house or you meet with your colleagues at the office in Spijkenisse. Together with at least 1 colleague you go to the site where you will be building the scaffold. A scaffold consists of various separate parts, such as frames, platforms and horizontal and diagonal braces, which ensure the stiffness of the scaffold. If you’re not yet experienced, a senior builder will teach you everything you need to know while working. When all projects for the day are done, you will be brought back home (or to the office), which will be around 16H.

The following tasks will be part of your job:

At 05.30 AM you will be picked up at home or you meet with your colleague at the office and you drive together to the first location. At this location you will find all materials you need to mount the scaffoldings. Or you have to dismount a scaffold and leave all materials at the location. During the day you will be working at several locations, no day will be the same!

Do you have?

  • driver's license B;
  • at least basic communications skills in English (or Dutch);
  • preferably your own car;
  • VCA certificate or willing to get one.

And are you?

A morning person who loves to work outside and who’s not afraid to work hard? Additionally, because there are a lot of safety rules, you need to have a sense of responsibility.

What can you expect?

  • a fulltime job with the intention of a permanent contract;
  • salary between €10,-- and €15,-- gross an hour;
  • possibility to develop yourself within the company;
  • worktimes between 05.30h and 16.00h.
