Sailor/Seaman

IS SAILING YOUR PASSION AND ARE YOU COMMITTED TO BRINGING LOADS FROM A TO B?

As sailor (or seaman, what you prefer!) you support the captain and skipper on the barge. Your support is important for safe and efficient transport. You will be living and working on the ship for a period of time. During the trip you get to see the most beautiful landscapes and ports.

The following tasks will be part of your job:

  • you support your colleagues on the ship with various tasks;
  • you are able to replace the skipper in his absence;
  • good housekeeping;
  • solving small technical issues.

Do you have:

  • good communication skills in English and preferably in another foreign language;
  • a certificate to work as sailor/seaman;
  • knowlegde of nautical topics;
  • experience in a similar position.

Are you:

  • stress resistant;
  • willing and able to be away from home for an extended period of time;
  • flexible;
  • willing to work hard.
