This renewable Energy Engineer holding a master in Energy Engineering is looking for a challenge job within the new energy business. 

Why a passion for new energy?

Sadra's father worked in Iran in the Oil and Gas industry who told him about the opportunities and also the challenges he expected toward the future. Sadra was also already interested in the environment and climate change from an early age. This combined to fuel his interest in new energy.

Experience & knowledge so far

During his master's degree in Energy Engineering, he was introduced to programming, well, at least the basics of it. This made Sadra aware of the importance of data and programming combined with his technical knowledge. So he took two courses at IBM; Data Analysis  & Machine learning with Python next to his study and projects. In Denmark, he completed his thesis at DTU Wind Energy where he used programming and data analysis to map wind turbine landscapes. Of course, taking into account all kinds of variables in order to find the most efficient landscape.
After and during his master he took up various projects to convert his theoretical knowledge into practical experience. He did for example a project in forecasting electricity prices with deep neural networks and analyzing commercial battery storage in commercial buildings.

Sadra's wishes for the future
Next to the common wishes like a healty and safe future, Sadra wants to make a difference by being active in the energy transition now. A job where he can combine engineering, programming and designing would be ideal for Sadra. However, he realizes that he has to start somewhere and is therefore open to all kinds of positions in this challenging sector.
