Get ready to be captivated by Michael - a dynamic candidate whose wealth of experience as a seasoned dispatcher, paired with his exceptional English communication skills, makes for an irresistibly intriguing profile.

Currently, Michael is working remotely as a dispatcher for an employer in Ukraine. Despite enjoying the work immensely, he is still looking for another job, purely due to the fact that he now has Ukrainian conditions and they are simply not enough to support his young family. Additionally, he would love working in a Dutch company to get to know the Dutch culture and build his future here.

Quite simply, his current job can be described as assigning rides to drivers across America. This of course involves all sorts of things, so his daily tasks include the following:

  •  checking available loads on the platform DIT;
  • agreeing (negotiating) price with the broker;
  • looking for an available driver within a certain radius from the loading point;
  • keeping broker informed of ETA during the journey.

A very diverse job, requiring good communication, logical thinking and stress resistance.


What is Michael's story?
Moved to Ukraine from Nigeria to study Engineering, on the recommendation of his father. An interesting study, but Michael soon realised that his future would not lie in this field of work. Hence, he followed another Master's degree in a completely different field to end up in the logistics sector by chance.
In early February 2022, Michael and his girlfriend already left Kiev, things were already getting unsettled and they did not want to take any risks. Until the outbreak of war, they had lived with friends on the border before crossing to Slovenia. Via Austria and Poland, where his wife was able to continue her work, they arrived in the Netherlands in early 2023.
