Meet this very enthusiastic and motivated young professional who's looking to start a career in the laboratory field.

Born in Serbia, studied in Germany and now living in the Netherlands, let's meet Katarina. 

Her love for chemistry started as a young girl. Even before she got taught chemistry at school, she experimented with all kinds of personal care products in the bathroom. Her parents acknowledged her love for chemistry and supported it by buying her (and her sister) special chemistry packages for children. Because of her second love, pharma, she decided to study pharma at college. After 4 years, and graduating, she wasn't sure the faculty of Pharmacy was the correct next step for her, so she decided to go back to love number one: chemistry! After graduating as Msc in Chemistry she got the chance to have an internship in Germany as a research assistant. Both parties were very satisfied which ended up in a PhD at the same company. Please note that having a PhD title was not a priority, gaining experience was. But offcourse, having a PhD proves how much hard work and dedication she puts into the entrusted work.

  • High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
  • Gel electrophoresis
  • Affinity chromatography
  • Liquid Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS)
  • Gas chromatography
