Please meet Oleh, a 57-year-old Ukrainian man with 36 years of experience working in the Mariupol port.

The Russian-Ukrianian war has had a huge impact on Oleh's life, he lost huge parts of his previous live, which is why it is so impressive how positive and hard-working he is. Luckily, all his family members are now reunited here in the Netherlands. Oleh is ready to get to work and open to new opportunities here. 

Oleh has extensive experience working in the port due to the variety of duties he has done. He started his career as a stevedore, and held the position of the Deputy head of the port area for warehouse work. Due to some management changes in the port the last nine years, he worked as a slinger in a team of dockers. As part of this position, he cleaned the holds of vessels and storage areas for previously bulk-transported goods, and washed and cleane dirty trucks that delivered clay to the port. He was using "Karcher" mobile car washer to wash the car's exterior parts: the wheels and car body. In warehouses and in the space of the port, as well as in the holds of ships, he was constantly cleaning premises using shovels and brooms.

He has completed courses as a forklift truck driver and a gantry crane operator but has no work experience with these vehicles. His English is enough to explain himself, have a simple conversation and to understand tasks.

He made an impression of a decent, hardworking, reliable and devoted person, who would be highly responsible for his work and be a true team player. He is familiar with industrial cleaning jobs, is not afraid of them and knows how to do them perfectly well.

He has the Driver license B-category and his vehicle.
