Experienced seaman who's looking for a maritime related job on shore. 

We have met Oleksandr as a motivated, well spoken and serious man. As a 19-year-old boy, he started his career on board. During the first years, Oleksandr studied for his Navigation and Maritime education while he was on board and when he was on shore he took his exams. In the years on board, he developed himself to second officer and he was responsible as navigational officer, safety officer and security officer. Because of these diverse experiences on board, he has gained a lot of knowledge.

Unfortunately, due to the critical situation in Ukraine, Oleksandr had to leave his home country and has now setteld in the Netherlands. However, he is motivated to make the best out of this situtaion and really wants to be part of the Dutch society. Having a job that fits his knowledge and experience is part of this plan. Furthermore, he wants to learn the Dutch language and settle down with his family. That is why he prefers a job on shore this time, but definitely still in the maritime field.

Therefore, Oleksandr is interested in jobs / area of expertise like the following;

  • surveyor;
  • ship handler / purchasing associate;
  • bunker surveyor;
  • water clerk.
