Get ready to meet this young, talented and open-minded Maritime Maintenance Engineer and Technician.

Originally from Ukraine, Eduard was on board when he was notified that it was not safe for him to return home. This led to him making the decision to follow his friends to the Netherlands. Once here in the Netherlands, Eduard started working as an order picker to stay busy, get familiar with the Dutch culture and this new country. 

Prior to his move to the Netherlands Eduard was working as a Maritime Engineer and Technician on board of container ships. With up to 5 years of experience and a fitting academic background Eduard talks about his work with much joy. He subtantiates his love for his job by emphasizing how he is able to use both his intellect and physical strength which ensures a lot of variety during the job. No day is the same. This immediately represents two of Eduard's core characteristics, namely: his curiosity and open mindedness. In addition to these, Eduard is very eager to learn and interested in continuously developing himself. 

What is Eduard looking for in a job?
Eduard is looking for a job, marine or maintenance related, in which he is able to continue exercising his current skills and knowledge, but also expand his capacities by contuining to learn new things in the field of maintenance. He is open to combining work at shore with a possible voyage at sea. Examples of job opportunities consist of:
  • Surveyor
  • Technical employee (maintenance field)
  • Motorman
