Akeem's international story began at the age of 19 when he left his native country Nigeria to study in Malaysia. After fast-tracking his studies in Hospitality Management, Akeem went to the Philippines to study Business Administration before studying Logistics and Supply Chain in the UK. In England, he met his current, Dutch, girlfriend, thus ending his international journey in the Netherlands. Adapting to a new culture has not been a problem for Akeem, so he calls himself easy-going, friendly and sociable; traits he inherited from home.

Akeem also learned from home that hard work pays off and that it does not come naturally. Sitting at home and waiting is not for him, he is always working: either as an employee or on a self-employed basis. His last experience in paid employment was as a logistics administrative assistant, where he was responsible for correct file formation in addition to customer contact. Currently, he is self-employed as a night porter at a prestigious hotel in The Hague, which he really sees as a temporary solution before finding a nice job in the logistics sector again.

Live your life and be happy
Sounds simple and, with the right direction, actually can be quite simple. Akeem has no huge ambitions, wishes and/or demands. He just wants to be able to take care of his family (here and in Nigeria). This obviously requires a nice job, then the rest will come naturally. For Akeem, a nice job entails the following:
