Viktoriia is a former accountant who decided to become a software developer because accountancy was not the right fit for her anymore. She thought: "if I want to switch from profession, now is the time" and went all-in into the IT world.
What is Viktoriia's story?
As said before, Viktoriia is now completely devoted the world of IT. Before this, she worked for over eight years in a bookkeeper/accountant role. She slowly started to find the bookkeeper work a bit boring and wanted to try something new where there was a bright future ahead. Now, she is in her final month at the National Technical University of Ukraine (remotely) to get a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering to add to her Master’s degree in Accounting. Also, she just finished the Matrix Master Bootcamp (which is organised by a partner of Port of Opportunities) based in Rotterdam, and received a certificate in Java Script full-stack development. Viktoriia is very motivated to develop herself as an IT specialist. She is open to learn new technologies and is very eager to start.
