This soon-to-be-dad is highly motivated to get on board again! He started as an ordinary seaman and developed himself in 10 years into second officer.

A life on the ocean waves

Dmytro has spent much of his career at sea. During this time he has taken great responsibility for his work and the load on board. These tasks, among others, were part of his job:

  • planning the route and if necessary adjust the route;
  • checking all fire systems and lifeguard boats;
  • preparing all necessary documents for departure and arrival. 

Diversity on board

When asking Dmytro why he loves a career on board so much, his answer is quick and clear: diversity. He tells us that at sea, no two days are the same. You ship various goods, deal with different situations regularly and work with people with all kinds of nationalities.
